The old argument is that a dropped bullet hits the ground at the same rate regardless of attack angle. Not true. But.....

when you consider that the bullet falling at an angle travel farther, the extra distance helps explain the marginally longer time.

Google fall rate of a bullet. Everything I saw was 300-700 fps. That's 200-465 mph.

Or, ask the kid's family I mentioned in my earlier post.
